The Technical Services Engineer is accountable for the repair and maintenance of repairs both in the workshop and at customer accounts. You will be working mainly with surgical instruments/power tools. You will will utilize a wide array of knowledge, technical skills and critical thinking abilities to facilitate the fast turnaround of both the quality checking of new product, and the repair of items that have failed in the customer environment.
You'll take responsibility for trouble-shooting, maintaining and overall status of equipment and will improve quality by offering suggestions, acting to meet customer’s needs, implementing Quality improvements and assure “gold standard” in all aspects of services.
You will need to be a good communicator and comfortable in a hospital theatre environment. This role is not for the squeamish!
You will need 2 years post qualification experience. Experience of project management and team leadership are desirable. Educated to degree level with experience in at least one of the following:
Electrical / Telecommunications Engineering or Medical Physics
