This division of one of the world's most successful technology companies, provides custom solutions for automated life science research including novel instrumentation eg liquid handling/robotics and laser scanning assay systems.
Taking responsibilty for a range of specialist products, you will provide on-site and remote technical support to customers. You’ll prepare and update all support related documentation (training & user manuals etc.) and feedback information to developers re: bug fixes, new feature requests etc.) and be involved with testing software patches and updates. As well as installation procedures prior to product release to customers. An important part of the role is to organise training for customers.
To be effective you’ll need a very broad working knowledge of electromechanical systems and products and previous knowledge from working with automated laboratory equipment would be very beneficial. A high degree of PC literacy is essential, as is experience of working with bespoke product applications.
