This well established UK distributor supplies a broad range of quality specialist and innovative products and delivers a high level of applications, technical and service support to its customers in the life science community.
As Technical Sales Specialist will be responsible for selling their range of life science products into pharmaceutical, biotechnology and academic accounts throughout the southeast. Managing existing accounts, including some BIG players in industry and academia, you'll also be responsible for "spreading the word" to gain new business, so you'll need to be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills plus persistence and tenacity to achieve sales growth.
Of degree calibre or higher in life sciences / molecular or cell biology you will ideally have relevant sales experience, selling of instrumentation and reagents. However, commercially astute post-doc's with proven hands on laboratory experience and obvious drive and ambition should still apply!
