Are you an experienced Technical Sales professional with a fascination for new technology?

The company has exclusive rights to the commercial exploitation of intellectual property derived from work in "best in world" laboratories in the UK.  Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, candidates will drive forward Knowledge Transfer by visiting a range of key and potential clients to showcase the range of goods and services available.  Time will also need to be spent developing strong relationships with scientists and engineers within the organisation, as these will be your technical specialists.

You should have at least a 1st degree in Engineering, Physics or Chemistry and a minimum of 2/3 years in a technical sales environment.  A knowledge of laser physics and/or neutron applications is desirable as the focus of the role is in these fields.

Field based you will be expected to spend four days per week actively marketing access to services and facilities and in selling existing products.   With main research facilities in the North West and the Thames Valley, you should have good access to either or both sites.

A salary around £32-35k is on offer plus car allowance, bonus and a “Gold plated” pension scheme.
