The company is an autonomous subsidiary of a major US lab supply company, with significant brand recognition within their expertise in electrophoresis.

Reporting to the US based Sales & Marketing Director, the company is now looking for a UK based Product Manager to manage the marketing of their products both at a strategic and tactical level.  This will mean taking full responsibility for the product lifecycle, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and technical support to ensure targets are met.  Products are produced under the company's own brands as well as significant activity in OEM business.

You should be a life scientist with extensive experience of electrophoresis, with proven skills in Product Management and marketing.  You will understand what is happening in this market and can make a significant contribution to the company's growth which will be both organic and through acquisition.

The company has 2 main UK operations - Midlands (manufacturing) and East Anglia - so you could work from either site; for exceptional candidates you may be able to work from home if relocation is an issue but you would need to be the ideal person!

A negotiable salary and package in the high £30's is envisaged.
