This is an unusual opportunity to use your (current) Nursing skills in support of a professional, caring business, dedicated to helping obese people lose weight and retain this weight loss with a healthy life style.
In this part-time role you will offer advice on the medical aspects of the product , responding to queries from clients, company personnel and health professionals. You'll be involved with developing and providing medical training for Counsellors and contribute to creation of materials aimed at GPs. An important part of the role will relate to research - collating current information, helping to develop teams of Opinion Leaders and writing briefs on health related subjects.
You will be an experienced nurse, ideally with knowledge of obesity and / or its co-morbidities. Presentation, teaching and mentoring skills are essential as is a sense of humour and practical approach. Optimally working 16 hours per week, Monday to Thursday from 4-8pm, you need to be flexible enough to increase the hours you work e.g. during exhibitions, conferences etc and to cover for absence when necessary. You will be offered a generous pro rata salary and the company has excellent working benefits conditions.
