In this important role you’ll be a vital member of the LighterLife programme team, contributing to the ongoing research and development of the company’s weight loss programmes and providing highly specialist advice, education and support to clients, Programme Counsellors, healthcare professionals etc.

There are many different aspects to this position, but of priority is high level involvement with NPD and product reformulation. New regulations are imminent and you’ll use all your specialist Nutritionist / Dietitian training to ensure this important technical/regulatory information is disseminated to all relevant stakeholders.

In helping with product development you’ll attend conferences to keep up to date with current research and advice and act as company representative at medical exhibitions and lobbying on key aspects such as regulatory affairs.

You MUST have a relevant degree or postgraduate diploma in nutrition/dietetics with at least 3 years post-graduate experience and HPC registration. It is important that you have COMMERCIAL exposure and have worked outside the NHS or similar clinical environment. It goes without saying that you have a strong interest in obesity management.

This is a Maternity Leave contract with an initial period working alongside the incumbant.
