This company is recognised as the leader in instruments used in Electron Microscopy.
In this new role you will provide additional resource for design and manufacturing support to production projects including specific tasks associated with cost reduction, process and quality improvement, releasing development projects to production, creating internal documentation, liaising with partner companies and assessing sub-contractors.
You are a qualified mechanical engineer with a hands-on engineering background and experience in design for manufacture. An understanding of 3D CAD is important, as is the ability to document information and processes and you ideally have knowledge and experience of scientific instruments, vacuum technology, cryogenics and small mechanisms.
