This is a very customer focused role driving business in the major pharmaceutical and biotech accounts across the country. You’ll work with sales colleagues and senior management to develop tactical plans for growth specifically in the Genomics, Cell Signaling and Proteomics market as well as providing business solutions (pricing, service provision and product bundling). Acting as Sales Lead for large projects, you will be in liaison and negotiate with Senior Researchers and purchasing management at the highest level.
In addition you will help with training and developing other sales and technical staff to get the best possible results for the company.
Probably PhD qualified, with a record of sales success at the highest level, you are a proven and skilled Account Manager able to close orders at the most senior level and for high value (not capital) business. Whilst your main focus of activity is likely to be in the Golden Triangle, responsibility is UK wide and you need to be flexible to travel where and when necessary (85%).
