This UK company has an extremely strong stable of microarray technology patents and Intellectual Property which has led to their licensed use in many leading microarray systems offered by major companies worldwide. The company also has a strong business unit that supplies microarray services to companies and organisations primarily for micro-organism studies.

As Inside Sales Executive working within the Services Unit you will prospect for, qualify and close business contracts primarily over the phone but with field visits where appropriate. The role requires a great deal of customer interaction, scientific understanding and empathy with the needs of the clients.

You should be a strong life scientist with a very good understanding of microarray technology and micro-organism genetics and experienced in a wide range of molecular biology techniques.

This is an ideal role for a commercially astute scientist to move into a commercial role; or someone already in field sales looking to specialise with a world leader. The role is based from the Oxford HQ of the company.
