The company is a leading US based supplier of high-performance bioscience instruments used in drug discovery and other life sciences research, with associated consumables and software systems.

Based at the European depot in Berkshire, this role involves providing in-house maintenance and engineering support to the European Depot, covering a wide range of bio-science products.

You will also provide technical support to customers, Field Service Engineers and tech support personnel as necessary and assist in the day to day running of the EU depot facility including logistics, warehousing and stock administration.  There will be an occasional need for direct engineering support on customer site.

You should have:

• Recognised qualification (ONC/OND) in electronics / engineering or similar
• Plenty of relevant experience preferably in a repair / maintenance role. 
• Fault finding ability together with an understanding of measurement & precision (essential).
• Good general PC hardware and software skills
• commercial awareness and good communication skills for interaction with customers.
  Any Bioanalytical/Clinical or optical based systems/instrument experience would be an advantage
