This is a leading provider of high quality instrumentation and related support services to science laboratories in a broad range of industries.
In this field-based position, you will be working with existing and new customers installing, training, maintaining and repairing all laboratory instruments to customers in the UK and Ireland. You will also assist with the Quality Programme ISO 9001 2000, developing new business leads for parts, consumables, support contracts, customer training programmes, and upgrades to existing instrumentation.
You'll need to be familiar with Gas/Liquid Chromatography and/or Mass Spec equipment / applications. You could be a service engineer in this field or perhaps an end user with a technical mind and a practical bent!
You should be comfortable with travelling, spending time away from home on a regular basis as this role covers the UK. On average you may spend 2 nights away per week but this can fluctuate. Our client recognises the need for flexibility in this role and will work with you to ensure this.
