This UK company has an extremely strong stable of microarray technology patents and Intellectual Property which has led to their licensed use in many leading microarray systems offered by major companies worldwide. They have recently launched a microarray technology for use in cytogenetics research and are rolling this technology out across Europe.
As Business Development Manager, your role will be to prospect for, qualify and close microarray and related product sales to cytogenetics laboratories in Europe. Working closely with the Commercial Director, this is a key role and requires a great deal of customer interaction, scientific understanding and empathy with the needs of the clients.
You should be a seasoned sales professional with experience selling into the Life Science Genomics market, and ideally with experience of selling into the cytogenetics sector. Due to the focus on European markets, the person should be ideally based in Central Europe although UK based people can be considered if they are prepared to travel widely.
