The company is a well known global healthcare provider with products that encompass a broad range of solutions from pharmaceuticals to sophisticated diagnostic technologies with worldwide sales in excess of $20billion.
With the NHS increasingly moving to managed services where external suppliers are responsible for managing the supply and purchase of pathology functions, this company are at the forefront of these activities. They are now seeking a Bid Support Specialist who will be responsible for coordinating commercial bid responses liaising closely with the sales and contracts teams.
This role needs an exceptional eye for detail, analytical skills and a solid understanding of MS Excel to a high level and would as such suit a non-scientist with a strong understanding of financial and business processes. It’s likely your academic background will be in Business Studies combined with work experience in planning, procurement or a role involving detailed spreadsheet planning and analysis. You’ll also need to be a team player with good interpersonal skills and happy with a high degree or autonomy and responsibility.
A salary in the range of £25-30K is on offer and a good benefits package of working for a major international company.
