This fascinating and important role will see you providing field based pre- and post-sales application support and customer training offering the highest level of expert technical advice with significant amount of time involved with demonstrations, seminars, workshops and exhibitions.
There is also a servicing element to the role involving new system installations, provision of on-site and office based repairs of instruments as required and preventative maintenance visits where contracted.
Probably PhD qualified in molecular biology coupled with significant hands-on experience including PCR, DNA sequencing, Western blotting, Flow Cytometry and ELISA you are also handy with a screwdriver! (experience of electronics would be a distinct advantage). A confident and enthusiastic communicator, you are able to build rapport with customers and offer a "better than the rest" service. You'll need to be flexible to travel widely and at short notice.
